Andrew turned the key in the lock and opened the door.
“Bathroom’s at the end of the hall there,” she said, pointing with the cigarette she held between her fingers.
“Are there any towels?”
She stepped in after him and said, “There should be one there and a washrag too, in the drawer, oh and a little bar of soap too.” Andrew fought the urge to laugh. Her accent reminded him of Edith Bunker from ‘All in the Family’, and with her constant adding on of words, and the fact that she said why-sh instead of wash.
